Kissing sleeping ANYONE is sexual assault if you're doing it for sexual reasons.

I don't see what the controversy is about that statement. A person who isn't conscious can't consent. Consent requires being conscious. Inability to consent = sexual assault.

Kissing when the victim is unable to consent or resist can pretty obviously be classed as sexual assault. It's a sexual act motivated by sexual gratification. How could you reasonably not think that? Edit: it's been pointed out that the poster may be referring to kissing in the context of an existing relationship where consent was preestablished. That seems a fair exception (though consent is not always present in relationships, and wasn't always there in the articles case)

This is how humans, and ALL ANIMALS, evolved for billion of years. Your mother has an intimacy relation with you as a child, same goes for your father, your grand parents and even some of your small friends.

As you grow, the intimacy rules change, from relative to relative, from girlfriend to boyfriend and so on...

As a rule, once a relation is off, the intimacy rules are also off.

This was the IMPLICIT CONSENT, we all grew with and no one got "raped" by it!

But now, the demented sick feminist that see RAPE everywhere, have lobbied stupid, brain dead virtue signaling politicians to remove IMPLICIT CONSENT from the laws and force everyone to use EXPLICIT CONSENT.

Attention, explicit consent is extremely taxing for all individuals! There are NO known relations between humans that rely on explicit consent all the time! It is insanely hard to practice and insanely tiresome, boring and demanding for both individuals.

Even in common relations, with friends, try to ASK PERMISSION to talk each time and see what happens.

Humans are not machines, human relations have evolved organically and to ask for consent each and every time, each and every move, each and every second, is insane.

The fact that this type of sick and demented human interaction is ENFORCED by law is beyond words. Is like the ultra conservative ISLAMISTS that enforce human interaction norms to their people, or the ULTRA JEWISH CHRISTIANS that ban skin on skin contact... except for procreation....

This ultra "progressive/regressive" insanity borders dementia. It strips away all traces of HUMANITY during the most intimate moments of human relations. In a word, it destroys human relations and replaces them with legal-robot-puritan relations.

If the puritan ultra conservative evolved to our Internet age, they would surely come up with something similar to what the "progressives" created.

BTW, rapists don't care about "consent". That is the sickest and funniest part... they will NOT gonna be affected by these laws. Everyone else will be, all human interactions will be, intimacy will be, married decent people will be, families will be, children will be... but rapists? NO, they will not be in any way stopped or even annoyed by these new insane laws....

Rapists don't care about consent, explicit, implicit, lack of, protests, clear NO, forceful resist, yelling, crying... Rapists will profit of a helpless victim and that's that.

Punishing the entire human society for the deeds of someone with a screw loose, just because you believed the exaggerations of a radical feminist movement that believes that "all sex is rape"... is insane and will lead to incredible problems in a very short time.
