I am 27, have a promising career, and all that but I really want to be a part of the bartending industry and nightlife scene for parties and easy pussy. Is it unrealistic given that I work 45 hours a week?

I hate to crush your dreams but there is no way you can work 45 hours at another job and be able to bartend at a place worth bartending

First off, any club is going to make you a barback for 6 months minimum unless you're fucking Ryan Reynolds attractive.

Secondly, its a hyper competitive environment. Everyone shares tips and if you aren't pulling your weight you will be voted off the island very quickly.

One of my best friends and his roommate bartends at a cool bar near my house. I meet them after work on the weekends or do shit with them.

Lots of girls.

Just go to the bar (more fun than working at the bar) and make friends with a bartender.

Depends on where you live....just remember that there is a lot more to bartending that showing up, picking out a piece of pussy and leaving to smash.

Working 45 hours a week and trying to club bartend is going to most likely destroy you in a few months because of the lack of rest\workload.

If you are in a warmer climate, perhaps a cabana bar or pool bar might work because of the hours but I don't know how easy it is to pull chicks.

Assuming you have zero experience (if you did you wouldnt be asking this) yeah it's fairly unrealistic. If you're lucky you might be able to find a place that'll let you barback or bus tables and then train you to bartend but that'll probably take months before that transition happens. Lots of bars are open until like 2 or 230 (depends on location) which means you're not getting out of there before 330 am. Any bar that's worth working at is going to have lots of people trying to work there, too.

Then don't be a bartender.
You can achieve both of those goals with much less time commitment and sacrifice. As mentioned earlier, go to bars and be fun. Befriend bartenders, learn to pick up female bartenders. You can decide what nights you want to stay up and party like a bartender and what nights you need the night off.
