Hello everybody, First of all, I'll like to apologize if my english is not on point. So, some days ago i texted a nice looking girl I once met some months ago but never followed up. We texted just a bit before I asked her out to catch a horror movie I wanted to see (I remembered when we meet she mentioned liking those films) she accepted immediatly and scheduled to see each other yesterday. Well, the problem is yesterday I send her a text 30 minutes before leaving home to let her know i was going over there, she said she was going too. Sutpidly I left my phone at home. The city was a big chaos cause there was a lot of rain (I live in a very chaotic latin american city), nevertheless I arrived on time but she didnt. I waited 40 minutes for her and then left. After arriving home i checked my phone and she had texted me she had arrived like 10 minutes after i left and was kind of upset I left. I brushed it off cause she was late and just offered an apology for the misunderstanding, but she said I shouldnt have thought she would miss the date cause she had said she was going. I just offered to meet her a new time during a less chaotic occasion. She kind of gave me the could shoulder saying "yeah, another day im not working." and still complained about getting soaked and shit like that. I didnt replied cause I didnt feel like conforting all her complains about the situation (which I also suffered). Well, the point is I would like to try a last time to see her as she is good looking and seemed nice when we first met... I was thinking of calling her tonight just to lower the tension by making fun of the situation and saying something along "yesterday was a mess, when are you free so we reschedule". What do you guys think (Im kind of insecure at the moment as I just started dating again after recovering from a LTR breakup)? Would calling her seem like trying to hard (I feel like texting could just be back and forth bullshiting)? When should I make contact again?
