I'm all for pointing out the inconsistencies between how the sexes are treated in the US Justice system but this one doesn't seem like it belongs here.

3 of the students were 18+ so while unethical - it's not illegal. The other student lied, she thought they were 18 and they were in fact a minor. That's happened to a lot of guys, when young girls sneaking into clubs with fake IDs lie about their age.

Illegal yes, but not entirely her fault. That could happen to any of us.

Eh i dont think this belongs here. It wasn't rape as the students were 18+ and sought her out for sex not the other way around.

Not saying its right or justified and if the genders were switched it'd be a jail sentence for sure. But also its kinda different like 26 to 19 isn't awful not like a they were middle schoolers

Accused? She pled guilty and admitted to having sexual relations with the students. Since one was under 18, she raped him. Will always love the word play they use with women sex offenders.

Seems more like a PPD to me. She fucked adults and one kid that allegedly lied to her. No jail time, but she has to register as a sex offender, which is usually not the case in these situations. Without knowing the age if the minor it's hard to say how bad this is.
