The MRM is now officially on the radar of at least feminists, and at most the people who pay attention to the new age of social justice and the goings-on of that. What will it take to put a microphone in our hands and be given lease to form serious and respected organizations? I have held to the belief that, like early feminism in the US, the MRM is at a stage where it exists, but it's ridiculed as being "unimportant" or dismissed with its supporters being called crazy or hateful. For feminism, it was women taking to workplaces during a Second World War to keep the US functioning beyond its military. A show of not only equal competence, but integrity, that forced society to consider the demands of feminism.

We're seeing women leave feminism, men going their own way more than ever before, and issues like circumcision being outright assailed by government bodies. There's a platform there, we need to plant our feet firmly on it and let it be known that we do not want our sons and daughters growing up in a world where men and women are in the positions they're in. This is not equality, and we need show people what this looks like from men's perspective, the side not even other men want to understand or fight for.

I'd wager a draft would set us up a good soapbox, or a mental health campaign or fathers' rights campaign, or a particularly high-profile false accusation. I've read up on three recent cases in the US of fathers who have been alienated from their children, all through court action, only to have the mother kill their child. The U.K. is just swimming in false accusations lately. Really if one media outlet started making pro-men's issues content that'd be the shot heard 'round the world. We're all prepared to stand behind a movement, but what will make this movement move?
