I just want to leave a note to those of us that are getting consistent lays, either by LTRs or plates. It's so easy to regress to your old self if you're having success with women. Stay on TRP and avoid reverting back to beta. Sometimes coming to this sub reinforces that.

While I've always known about the phenomenon known here as "the wall" intuitively, I hadn't really read or heard of a woman discussing about it in detail. It's something shameful to talk about, after all, so most women don't want to talk or even think about it detail. This has been true for me regardless of nationality or ethnicity. I've had girls shame me with, "Fiat, you'll never find a nice lady to marry if you talk about things like this," even when she'd be the one to broach the topic and cry about it. I don't even care much about discussing RP theory IRL.

That's why this title caught my attention when I was browsing through the social aisle at my local bookstore megachain: Marry Him: The Case For Settling For Mr. Good Enough

It's rare to see that kind of honesty, so I decided to skim through it.

The story of the author's own personal life bled through her advice.

The author blames feminism for warping her priorities. She felt she needed to do everything possible before settling down, and didn't consider the consequences. How could she go through life only experiencing one relationship? How could she get married before accomplishing everything?

She broke the heart of her BF whom she had a fantastic relationship with. Maybe to ride the carousel, maybe to further her education/career. This wasn't really clear.

As she approached her 30's, pictures of other families, kids, and other scenes made her realize she actually wanted to settle down. She wasn't satisfied with her shorter-term relationships. She tries reconnecting with her first BF, basically breaks his heart again. He basically asks her, "Why now?" and then promptly tells her that he is married now.

The author feels the wall approaching. To relief the pressure, she adopts a couple kids, thinking it would give her more time to find the best man possible for her. At this point, she still hasn't learned that it wasn't simply about her own biological clock, but everyone else's as well. Her competition steadily increased (from her first flame's wife, onwards). It goes on like this until she hits 40, at which point she admits that the pool for her (she consider herself quite attractive for her age), are basically fat, balding, and/or old men twenty years her senior. Her female friends/coworkers continue to wonder why a catch like her couldn't find a man to settle down with.

I couldn't believe how stereotypical it all sounded. There are more details I left out for the sake of brevity that might have made this seem even more so. I'm a naturally skeptical person, so if I had read such a story online with the way it was told, I would have assumed it was a troll.

I always say that you should be responsible for your own fate, so I can't have too much sympathy for the author there. That being said, I do respect her honesty for sharing… and even bravery. From what I've seen, she's heavily criticized and harassed by feminists and other angry women (like those at jezebel) for daring to write such a book.

I fell victim to one of the nastiest depressions recently where I began second-guessing my existence, thinking I was inbred and mentally retarded, therefore I would never get a girl in bed or live the casual lifestyle I desire.

Turns out I snapped out of it this week by consciously reminding myself every day about all the girls I met in the past since I started this Journey 2 years ago, all the girls that liked me, the girls that wanted to fuck me, the amazing times spent partying at college night clubs, and even the plain practice approaches I did to destroy AA. Picturing all those moments and interactions in my mind and telling myself that I am sex-worthy because plenty of girls have liked me in the past was enough to break out of that ugly illusion that was haunting me.

Needless to say, started working out again yesterday, and feeling pumped and confident, ready to go out! This made me realize that the mind really is the greatest foe or friend.

Still working through my Beta tendencies.

I still have trouble saying no. Couple of my plates crashed this past week when I decided to focus on one in particular. As soon as I picked her out, I went full Beta. My normally eccentric, outgoing personality flopped to a quiet, shy guy persona. It freaked me out, turned her off, and I was sad.

Woke up this morning to a text from a previously broken plate, spinning it again. I feel better about myself and my situation. Although, having never had a LTR in my life, my goal is to build one at the very least.

That being said I've decided to make a New Year's Resolution (cliche, I know). I'm off women for 12 months starting 01/01/2014. Going back to school, upping my weight and reps at the gym, and doing some volunteer work.

Who knows, maybe I'll meet the One. Like in the movies. /s

In other news, I stopped smoking weed. Something I've aspired for since swallowing the pill. Got called a monster by my female partner at work (law enforcement) for "playing with so many little girls all the time". I had to laugh, as she gets around more often than I do. Though she has an excuse (boyfriend problems, drunk, hamster, hamster, squeeee).

Got a buddy blasting my Facebook feed about his cheating girlfriend. I showed him TRP. Maybe he'll see this. Wake up A.B.

Just saw that comment, an addendum to that: Keep on keeping on. We've all been indoctrinated into this society from a very early age, it takes more than small success to change the feminist mentality. Keep reading, keep lifting, and keep them spinning.

Ok this isn't really red pill. My girlfriend broke up with me the other day. With the reason "she's lost the spark" for herself, no longer excited, started putting on weight, doesn't care about social events now. Which has made her unhappy. And needs to be by herself to clear her head. So she says.

Now, quick note about me, I'm fit and attractive and not shy of attention from other women. don't treat her like a princess, have had up and downs, the sex is fantastic, set boundaries and humour my way out of most things.

Now all I'm thinking, is she isn't ready to settle, as that's where we were heading apart from travelling to Europe. She wants to ride the carousel until she's a little older then settle. To bad. She was a good catch.

It's got me pretty down over the last few days, and am pretty sure I never want to be in another LTR again.

I finished Year One from the Rational Male and largely agree with everything. However, Promise Keepers doesn't sit well with me. Rollo's point is that I should do things for my own reasons, but he is excusing men cheating in an explicitly monogamous relationship. "Men cheat for sex, women cheat for status. Therefore its okay for men to cheat." Isn't that just a shitty thing to do no matter your gender? Am I not getting it because I am still unplugging?

I am seeing a 26 year old woman. We have a lot of fun banter with oneanother - we’ll wind each other up, I’ll tease her (my favourite is to start kissing her then stop and accuse her of distracting me from <whatever>), etc.

Occassionally, she’ll send a grumpy text. Like complain about her commute or how the shops are busy.

How do you guys handle grumpy texts? Because of my communication style, I don’t come across in the same way over this medium.

Started spinning this 6/10 plate (she's on the heavy side) recently from work. Ever since my TRP awakening, my confidence is through the roof. My recent promotion helps that and considering I'm not her direct superior, there's no conflict of interest. I've had women throwing themselves at me left and right lately. I'm still getting used to how easy it is to make them swoon just by wearing a smile, standing up straight/shoulders back/chest out and throwing out an occasional wink. I'm still very cautious of dipping my pen in company ink, but this girl worships me and as such, is very easy to control when it comes to maintaining my power (and frame) at work.

Anyway, she met up with me for coffee at this local place I like but rarely get the chance to stop into. We talked for about an hour, I went back to her place, banged it out with her for a couple hours (all the while with her begging me to do this, that and the other) and I left. Made it clear from the get-go that I wasn't looking for a girlfriend; told her that I'm looking out for solely me and my son and if she had a problem with that, she can walk away right now. She thinks she's fortunate just to be my fuckbuddy, so I'll keep spinning this one for a while. When the time comes, I'll delete my messages and number from her phone to ensure all evidence is gone and deny everything like Nixon if it comes up at work.

Meanwhile, I have my eye on this gorgeous girl from the last place I worked at. Had a mad crush on her during my stint there, but I was both bluepill and in a relationship at the time. I'm looking forward to catching up with her to find out if she's the quality LTR material she made herself seem a couple years ago.
