People are complaining that International Men’s Day exists and that “International Women’s Day” searches don’t rise on International Men’s Day, and they don’t realize that that’s because nobody knows when International Men’s Day is. That’s the whole point.
Really this is a big deal? You need mainstream world attention for "International Men's Day"? You want to have a parade you can march in? Would that make you feel better?
International Women's Day went by and other than seeing the graphics on google and a few news headlines I didn't encounter it or have to interact with it at all.
I didn't have to buy any women a card, thank them for being women, bow down to them, I didn't even mention it. It came and went like a fart in the wind.
I get the double standard issue, but IMO I don't need a fucking stupid International Mens Day, that no one gives a shit about to begine with, to be a man.
Look at the down votes, LOL. Lets get all upset over a stupid PC day of recognition that is absolutely meaningless for either of the sexes. It was invented by governments to make it look like they are actually doing something, but are not doing jack shit.
Every year it comes and goes, and women in shit hole countries see no change. Only in countries where women actually have everything, they are the ones acting like they are so oppressed, and those same women don't give a rats ass about the women in the shit hole countries who are really oppressed.
