Dating app promises to deliver genuine matches by banning men from browsing through profiles (and women remain invisible until they swipe right). Guranteed to go bust. Why would any man sign up to this!
Zero time sink. You don't have to waste any of your time browsing profiles and sending messages that may receive no response. In fact, you can't do that.
Zero effort. Anyone who does become visible is someone who has a priori decided they find you attractive in some way (or are desperate).
I don't think women will like the app, though, (since their experience will be more like how online dating is for men) and thus it will probably fail.
Purple Pill Debate, TRP, etc that women are all "lazy" because we don't ask out guys.
When I say women are lazy, its because the effort in conversation or dating, not women asking guys out.
So the last time I used an online dating site, I spent 3 hours reading profiles and looking for guys I'd be attracted to who also matched my criteria. At the end of it, I found 30 guys and I messaged all of them with a question related to something in their profile. I got 4 messages back.
You were punching way above your weight class. A ratio that bad makes me think that you're a 4~5 when you think you're an 8.
One was from a guy who literally just wrote MGTOW 10 times then blocked me.
Strange behavior
The second one was from a guy who seem pretty cool at first but then on our 9th message began accusing me of being a man. Apparently he'd been "suspicious" of fact we had a lot of hobbies in common (both nerds/gamers) and he ran my messages through a website that tells you if the author is male or female, and I came back as 90% male. So he stopped responding.
There are a lot of trannies on dating sites trying to trap straight men.
Third was from a guy who said he was going to take a break from "chasing women"...dude, that's why I'm chasing you!
Chasing women is a second full time job. Relationships are a game to women until they turn 40
Fourth was a guy who described himself as quiet, somewhat shy, and not looking to immediately have sex. Yes, just my type! But he wrote to me saying he thought I was a catfisher because "hot girls never pm me". I'm not amazing looking, I'm a 7/10. Not going to be modeling anytime soon.
Dating sites are full of scammers
I deleted my account out of frustration. Fuck it.
And you experienced 1/10th of the frustration a guy experiences.
I understand why it's so disheartening and why people give up trying to find FWB, boy/girlfriends, etc online. Going to try meetups in person instead.
Eh, most of the people I've had significant relationships with have been people I've originally met online. Though not in any sort of context I'd describe as "trying to find a [partner]", we just both a happened to be on using the same sites due to common interests, became friends, etc. and eventually ended up together for a year or five.
As for meet-ups, there are usually events that have explicit singles/dating themes, so if you go to one that doesn't have that don't be that creepy person trying to figure out which of the other attendees are single and/or interested as it tends to screw up the vibe for everyone else who just wants to ride bikes or whatever.
I don't give a damn about commitment or exclusivity, but can't imagine sharing sex with someone I don't care about.
Pretty much same. Maybe we would get along.
I don't know either of you, obviously, but as a random uninformed asshole on the internet that "exposure therapy" plan doesn't sound like the best idea. Or even a good one. But it might be, depending how severely you react to being touched.

This sounds like a great dating app for men.
