So a friend of mine approached me about his son who was accused of rape by an ex girlfriend. Both kids were 14 at the time, and still currently in highschool.

The school and police were all brought into it, but it all fell apart when her story completely fell apart as the times she stated he wasn't even with her, every time she changed her story she chose an even less plausible time as he was over 100 miles away at the time.

He was then accused a second time by the girl's friend when he refused to date her or just to get back at him for proving her friends a liar, I'm not too clear on why, just that it happened.

The police caught them in all these lies but didn't go forward with any counter action for lying.

The boy is now facing bullying at school and isn't getting any help with the teachers because of course they support the girls. His behaviour and engagement at school is understandably suffering and there doesn't seem to be any support.

This is in the UK. Is there any support, of any kind to begin with eg counceling or a charity?

What are the chances if they lawyered up? Or is it likely just to be shot down?
