Brits in Dubai brunches usually get completely drunk and have attitudes not really in line with how you are expected to behave in the Emirate... My first memory at 7 years old moving to London was seeing some puke on the hood of a Porsche next to a pub in my street, and it’s quite consistent with their attitude at brunches over here. As a resident she should have known not to take someone else’s property. Yes punishments are harsh in Dubai, but the lifestyle is amazing and so are the salaries, it’s just part of the deal and what is making Dubai so safe.

It's a cool place and very westernised they'll ignore alot of stuff but there laws are still very much middle Eastern.

Which means they're archaic.

That being said I don't think the appropriate fine for stealing glasses is jail time I think it's paying for an entirely new pair (glasses ain't cheap yo)

Ok for those of you who've never been to a Dubai brunch here's the deal. It's essentially a huge drunk fest.

It's all you can eat, all you can drink. People pay over $100 US dollars to sit in a posh hotel and get fucking loaded. Since it happened while they were leaving it it's likely everyone was shitfaced.
