so you said no, he stopped (just not fast enough) then you went to his apartment? ya its messed he didnt say anything before penetrating someone the first time.

she still went to his apartment though? is there no level of self responsiblity?

Then it turned into him basically sticking it in without me knowing it was happening. I said flat-out no. It stopped, but it didn't stop soon enough after I said no."

That night, she stayed with him in his apartment, where she claims he raped her again.

This is like Mattress Girl all over again, with a little bit of that Stoya/James Deen situation mixed in.

I think that there's a murky area within the porn industry as to what's necessarily acceptable at what times and under what conditions, and I think people that are unaccustomed to that world might not understand how it operates. By its very nature, I assume you have to expect the line between work and intimacy isn't always black and white.

If you think you've been raped, you wouldn't stay with the rapist; even if you don't report it at the time, you wouldn't put yourself in the position to be abused again, if that's what it was. It's far more likely that this is a combination of women that either regretted it later, had personal/professional beefs with him, or just wanted to jump on the bandwagon for attention and personal gain.

Ron seems to have the right attitude about all of this, and I think he's a savvy enough guy that he understands this will all blow over and that the best strategy is to stand your ground and not allow the pussy pass to destroy a lifetime's career.

I've wondered about already being inside someone and being told to stop. I think different courts have different opinions about how long before you have to pull out. Then there is a grey area regarding properly reading the person telling you to stop. Is it a 'oh behave you dog' flirtation stop. Is it a we need to stop so nobody sees us type? Is it an I'm getting sore and we need to wrap this up type? There are so many different versions and such different body language.

Exactly; anyone can understand the "he roofied me and I woke up with my underwear inside-out" or the "he broke into my apartment and held a gun to my head" situations as rather cut-and-dry, assuming we believe the claim in lieu of evidence (which we shouldn't because evidence is the whole point). With interactions like this where the line of consent isn't 100% clear: on some professional level you just have to accept that there'll be misunderstandings that in any other context would be interpreted as crimes. I mean, this is a line of work where you have to accept that an insufficient enema means an anal scene goes horribly wrong, where a cock taken down an unprepared throat leads to another thing to clean up, where friendly fire and bodily fluids are just something you have to work with. Every job has potential pitfalls that don't necessarily mean a coworker has nefarious intentions.

It's also clear through the woman's statement that she didn't consider him to be a threat at the time, so clearly the events are a little more unclear.

My girlfriend and I have a d/s relationship in the bedroom. Sometimes she wants me to protest and overpower her. But there have been a few times where she resisted and I got aggressive and she said the safe word. In that case, it means no thrusting to finish, but get off now. The few times it’s happened, I’ve rolled off immediately, grabbed the tv remote and ask if things were ok. She can’t give me shit because the safe word works immediately and every time. She doesn’t abuse it though.

Anyway, they didn’t have that, so he has to read a girl that he is already having sex with and in a sex charged environment. To top it off, she stayed with him. If you are going to be a victim, be a victim and leave immediately. I doubt the hedgehog is much of a threat.

Yeah, a porn star of that level probably has hundreds, if not thousands, of sexual partners over the years. Some are only the one time and never seen again, some are periodic, and some are relatively routine. Like any professional working relationship, the more you know a person the more you know how to act; you know where the boundaries are. This story seems to suggest she was basically an amateur who probably didn't know what the rules were, and didn't know how it worked. I think she tried to interpret a porn behavior in a normal world context, and that's where she comes up with this idea.

I'm not saying that porn stars are saints and never do anything wrong, but Ron's about as close to a master level veteran pro as it gets (aside from a handful of others), I think he sensed in that moment that she wasn't ready for it, so he stopped. He may be odd to outsiders, but he seems like a pretty friendly, jovial guy; I'm guessing he got her feelings safe and comfortable again so she stayed around, and only then years later had second thoughts.

As someone who also engages in d/s play I'm starting to think basic consent needs to be treated in this mind set. In that its the onus on who wants to end intercourse and all things in between to vocalize it. Experience taught me that the safe word is for both parties even in a d/s situation. A definitive "no" can't be expected from the a court of law, but in basic sex ed taught to children basic responsibility and autonomy shouldn't be too much to expect. But now that should just be washed away and men need to start reading women's minds.

Man stops when she says no. Rape because he didn't read her mind. Then she stays the night with him.. even if he didn't stop this is one of the few times I'd say she was asking for it...

Now who really expects to meet the most famous male porn star of all time and go back to his place without sex coming into play?

[–]ThePigmanAgain 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

LOL! The source is Rolling Stone! Until a credible publication does a similar story, i really don't give a shit.
