This is tragic, as any suicide inevitably is, but the alleged behaviour of the hospital staff has nothing to do with this.

For a start, people tend not to refer to you in the third person in your presence so it's hard to imagine how often this could have happened.

Much more importantly, the reason this child was in the hospital in the first place was for observation because of the risk of self-harm of suicide.

The mother is sick with grief and is bound to lash out.

But that headline is clickbait rage-bullshit.
