I don't agree with this.

We shouldn't just hit people. She didn't act violently, she wasn't screaming at or berating him.
She may or may not have attempted to steal something. Based on this video she appears to be in line at the counter so really it's just the word of the aggressor here.

Even if she did steal this isn't the way to handle that. It's not like only females steal things that's not a pussy pass.

Meh violence isn't the answer, should've called the cops and had her ass dragged out.

Take her picture, plaster it on the wall - humiliate her, shame her - pass the poster on to every other shop owner.

The goal should be to devastate her reputation and make her known for what she is - a thief - not to beat her.
