How does that have anything to do with being conservative? The "Free Speech Movement" was a lefty thing; it started at Berkeley for crying out loud!

That many modern "liberals" and conservatives (not being one of them, I can't accuse any of them of not being "real" conservatives like I can for liberals) have rejected the principles of free speech just goes to show how ugly our political discourse has become.
