Very interesting. Feminist men's studies, but isn't that redundant? Every man-blaming conspiracy theory they push over there is a result of feminism's single-minded pursuit of "evil male" data to confirm their misandrist biases. We do some of that here too but I don't think most of us are the raging misogynists they think we are. Personally I research and promote examples of both female privilege and evil to simply show that feminism is wrong about men. Because if like the bumper sticker says, "Feminism is the radical idea that women are people," then it follows that they're capable of all the wrong things some men do.

I've been sorting out the difference/similarity between being pro men's rights and being anti-feminist for a while now and have concluded I'm more anti-feminist (3rd-wave triviality version, not original egalitarian) than an actual MRA. Wherever men are disadvantaged I bring it up mostly to poke holes in the ridiculous feminist "patriarchy" narrative. I'll take my lumps as a man but c'mon, ladies stop pretending everything in life is harder for you. And I've been homeless, to jail (ex-addict, not a thief) and expensively divorced twice. I ruined my back (4 spine surgeries) doing long hours of hard physical labor supporting demanding, ungrateful "oppressed" women, so I am very familiar with both the benefits and downsides of being a man in this women-first "man's" world. It's the sheer gall of feminist women to bask in the man-made luxury of our modern world as they carp about trivialities like the earnings gap and cat-calling, that's what finally made me an ex-feminist. Women's equality means an end to the pussy-pass which is the biggest sexist obstruction remaining to a truly gender-egalitarian society. I'm very fortunate to have a girlfriend, daughter, mother and sister who all agree that feminism has gone to shit here in the west after winning every important battle it set out to.
