I also wonder how many men these days are doing a cost-benefit analysis of college and finding other ways to get education and training that doesn't leave them hamstrung financially.

Every male college student could reasonably sue their college under title IX. Every single one.

The deliberate anti-male policy creating an extremely hostile environment is now well known to exist at every college. This is exactly what title IX was created to outlaw. Under feminists title IX was the weapon used to create the very thing that title IX outlaws.

A lot of men are choosing not to go because it makes no economic sense for them. The degree programs that yield high incomes and the best career prospects are still largely male. If you want to know where that female majority is, go check out an art history or gender studies lecture.

Meanwhile, a lot of young men who could attend college are realizing that they don't want to be engineers doctors or accountants (just to name a few) and are looking into similarly solid paying careers with non college education paths.

The only reason I went to college was to get a piece of paper saying I was smart enough to do a job I've been doing for a decade beforehand. I went to one of those private colleges, and even there this "check the privilege" crap was going strong. The English Lit professor, first day, flat out said that no male would make above an 85 in her class, "sorry, but you have other things going for you". Now, I had been bullied pretty much most of my childhood. I was 5' 3" at the end of my sophomore year, 6' the beginning of my junior year. I hate bullies, period. And in my mind, that's what she was doing. So, with a mix of anger, justice, and a drop of sheer stubbornness I called her out on it. Argument ranged everywhere from how much harder women had to study to be accepted to male's inclination of rape. She had the theory that men can't be raped because of the consent by erection. I told her if a physical reaction to sexual stimulus was enough for consent, a women can't be raped either. I kept after her for a couple of weeks. And I got the stink eye from other profs too. Didn't matter, anytime she stepped on that path, I was right there growling and barking. The provost got involved and asked what the hell my problem was. Flat out told him, if I was going to pay good money and study my ass off, I want my fucking grade. Got to a point where I told him if no male passed higher than 85, I would take the story about how their college purposely undercut the grades of 4 veterans (one of which was a Purple Heart) simply because of their gender; to the local station. And then start making noise about their aviation program (their pride and joy). Too late for the short story, but we got our fucking grade.

Guys have to start fighting this. No more taking the high road. Call them out on the bullshit. Make it painful for universities to promote gender supremacy. If SJWs start screaming you down like chimps flinging poo, put on a raincoat and get back in their faces. We've had to eat shit and smile, enough'a enough.

community colleges are not immune. i thought they were an alternative because they don't have women's studies departments and focus more on hands on training

I sorta wish they'd had one of those "sexual respect and consent" seminars at my college. I would have played up the ultra-prude sexual ignoramus card, assuming nobody else there did. In a way it would be SUPER fun - you'd get to make all sorts of overtly judgmental comments about the other people there.
