The where does not matter. The when does not matter.

When you see someone you find attractive and you want to see if they are a good fit for you. You walk up and start talking to them. "Hi, I'm [Name] smile" Then just flirt like I commented on in your other post.

It's important to address the last point of this post. You are not approaching to get in her pants. You are approaching to see if she is worthy of you getting into her pants. You see? If they watch you crash and burn or she curves you, who cares! At least you have the balls to go for what you want. Instead of being a bystander who watches other people attempt things they want.

On top of all this, you're strengthening your resolve and working on your game when you get rejected. You're improving when you fail an approach. That's what matters. See it for what it is.. That you have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. It's a journey, but with this mindset you will achieve your goal of being a master of game. That's when everything really gets fun.

The place isn't critical, but logistics matter imo. I wouldn't approach a girl getting on a bus I want going to get on. That's a logistical issue. But approaching during the day with people watching isn't a problem. I guess you're lacking the experience, but experience will show you it's not that bad, even if you get rejected.

Subway's probably a bad place because it's generally full of busy people trying to go places. Grocery stores shouldn't be creepy. FYI This is just my $0.02 as I haven't tried either.

Just don't approach where people are generally agitated/tired/busy, eg. During commutes.

In short,

anywhere that isn't a logistical issue.
anywhere that isn't shitting where you eat.
anywhere that isn't carrying a predisposition to men fighting over her. (You already said you're avoiding bars and clubs so, good. I don't mind bars though.)

Yeah you can get turned down a lot, but you can fuck a lot too. Or, you can regret never trying.

Context of approach is not critical. If your getting IOIs then fucking approach if not then fucking approach.
Malls, busy parks/areas, colleges, street walking, grocery stores (health foods stores like whole foods are best), museums, almost anywhere.
Idk about the subway but why not. Worst she can say is no, and it gets awkward. Which really isn't that bad. I'd say do it
Grocery stores are great. More so health food stores like wholefoods. I've approached in these places, have never came off creepy.
prisons and correctional facilities, halfway houses, retirement homes, work, underwater, when your playing tag and you're "it". Anywhere i guy might try to fight, You get the idea.
It's not quite as obvious as you think. I approached a girl (A) ordering a juice at a juice bar in the mall, 3 people working behind counter, all greeted me when I came up. I Asked A if I could try her juice, stuck a straw in tried it. It sucked. Walked off with her flirting. Point is people behind the counter gave 0 shits, people walking around gave 0 shits, and I gave 0 shits. They likely assumed I knew her already. Several other approaches have happened this way for me. But to answer your question of how, is to just do, just approach and get some DGAF attitude.
