The "turning the tables" argument is irrelevant because it suggests that historically there has always been measurable equal treatment among the sexes and that simply isn't the case. Historically women, wives and daughters, were considered property. Women have had the right to vote for less than 100 years. How long is the stigma of this status supposed to last? An hour after suffrage? 50 years? Near as I can see, women still suffer as second class citizens in a number of areas. I'm uncomfortable making these assertions (as a dude) because the more I feel obligated to bring it up, the more I appear to be perceiving women primarily as victims, which I don't. It just bothers me that with all the colossal BS the world is simmering in these days, there are people who just can't let women share in this one fun event. In other words, you may or may not be a sexist jerk, but you are an epic party pooper. Congrats.

Who needs Wonder Woman when you have white knights?

It is incredibly disturbing that so many people seem to think women were historically treated as "property." This is an epic feat of brainwashing and historical revisionism on par with the most deranged religious beliefs.

Seems congruent with that I already know. Blacks, Hispanics, Asians can all have a club to look after the rights and culture of their people.
