What? We can only prosecute crimes which haven't been committed yet? The only requirement is whether NYC made their statements prior to the showing and even then, it might not be true.

There are certain crimes and certain jurisdictions where one could be charged for a crime outside the jurisdiction for example child rape.

You can go to a country where it is legal to have sex with a minor, enter the u.s. and be charged. There are other aspects of the law where charges cab be 'tolled' meaning that time could be extended. (I if a company continuously violates a law, it doesn't matter if the first violation was 3 years ago and 2 years after statute of limitations. It would be considered recent.

Probably the best example would be women only gyms. Because of the unruh act in California they can't discriminate against men. If I bought a nationwide membership in California and I couldn't be prevented from using a club in New York even though New York would allow. I could sue in California courts because men would essentially be barred from getting nationwide memberships.

He could in theory still buy a ticket for a showing in Texas and the same thing would. In fact when I was a student, I could buy a ticket from a theater change good for any show at any of their theaters.
