Being “creepy” is an inevitable part of young men learning to speak to women they’re interested in. Young men shouldn’t allow women who’ve never had to be the pursuer shame them for trying and not being perfect at it on their first tries.

Hopefully they do. I don't know how many boys wear kilts these days, but why should there be a restriction against it? especially when girls can wear pants or skirts. I've never understood why people are so judgmental about what guys wear

[–]perplexedm[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

Desperate to see boys feminized, they will go down any lows.

[–]HeForeverBleeds 15 points16 points17 points 9 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Boys should be able to wear whatever they want to. No one's telling them they can't wear pants/they have to wear kilts; they're choosing to, and why should they not have that choice? If you choose to see kilts as "feminizing", that's on you

[–]perplexedm[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Men will not find it the way feminasties want to portray. But, that is up on feminasties. My intention was to expose truth behind the move.

[–]andrydood 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The "truth behind the move" seems to simply be letting people express themselves in more way than the one that most classically represents the gender.

Thinking this is "pushing boys to be feminised" is very defensive. Let people do what they want. How does this infringe anyone's rights?

[–]Bewolfs 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Because they treat masculine as it was some kind of dangerus toxic so they sneak in feminazi propaganda on boys and it is covered up as "expressing" themself. They are just making the boys mentally ill.

[–]andrydood 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Is anyone forcing the boys to wear the skirt? Is anyone saying wearing the skirt is what should be happening? No. All that's happening is that the boys have the choice to wear one of two things. This gives them MORE rights, not less.

[–]Bewolfs -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Giving the mentally ill more choice? "sure great idea".

"I identify as white even though I'm black so state must use tax payers money on my skin transplantation

This claim is backed up by psudo science that show black brain scan similar to a white person. It's not like I just got common interest like a white stereotype brain taken as example, nop, never, the psudo scientist did not feel they needed further research on their bias"

[–]Bewolfs 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

Boys should be able to wear whatever they want to.

Let them wear a speedo in the shcool then, hopefully you see the point now.

[–]HeForeverBleeds 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Neither boys nor girls can wear speedos to school because they're too revealing. The same does not apply to either kilts or skirts, which do not necessarily have to be revealing. So no, I don't see your point with that comparison. Why should boys no be allowed to wear kilts?

[–]perplexedm[S] -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Why should boys no be allowed to wear kilts?

HeForeverBleeds, Don't call it skirts then, call it kilts which is what it is.

[–]orangorilla 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

The skirts pictured aren't really kilts, as far as I can see.

From what I know, kilts are a specific kind of skirt. Insisting that something be called something it isn't, purely on your associations seems a bit insecure.

Insisting that something be called something it isn't, purely on your associations seems a bit insecure.

Men are associated with kilts, not skirts.

If it is not a kilt, people of this sub will find it a kind of feminization. The reason why the post is here.

[–]orangorilla 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Yet men aren't defined with what they cover their legs with. A kilt is a knee length skirt with deep pleats, there's no use in watering the term down further.

Do you also insist on renaming make up (manke up), or jewelry (hewelry)?

The reason the post is here should frankly be that this is a step forward in dismissing bullshit gendered dress codes. Rather than emasculation outrage.

step forward in dismissing bullshit gendered dress codes. Rather than emasculation outrage.

Bullshit is making men wear women's dress, high heels, etc. in the name of sjwism.

Time is up to stop such bullshit and let people live normal lives than lunatics.

[–]Imnotmrabut 16 points17 points18 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

FFS.... Why are they calling them Skirts. Thay have been KILTS in recorded history since 1600 - and are known to have been around in Viking Times.

Will the idiots with their gender bias on the brain get with reality and even try a few academic pursuits like HISTORY.

[–]McFeely_Smackup 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

people's ideas about "traditional" modes of dress, marriage, values, etc are largely rooted in the last 40-50 years.

Traditional is just a way of saying "do as I want you to do, because I said so".

[–]Bestoftherest222 8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lets be clear here, this all started due to boys in that school not allowed to wear shorts. So they had to wear pants in hot AF weather. So one boy went to school in a skirt and made a valid arguement that if a girl can wear it why can't i?

Now the school still doesn't want to concede that boys should be allowed to wear short, rather the school would allow boys to wear skirts/kilts all they like. I suspect the school is only considering this because it wants its boys to avoid kits/skirts cause its feminine. Rather than actually help the boys.

[–]McFeely_Smackup 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I'd suggest they be called "kilts" and end this ridiculous discussion right there.

What if they're skirts, not kilts?

[–]McFeely_Smackup -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

once a male puts it on, it's automatically a "kilt".

kind of like the difference between "a shirt" and "a blouse".

[–]orangorilla 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I can't say I subscribe to the same definition of these words as you.

I consider it something more like the difference between "pants" and "pants"

[–]McFeely_Smackup -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I didn't make up the definitions

[–]orangorilla 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It really sounds like you did.

  1. A knee-length skirt with deep pleats, usually of a tartan wool, worn as part of the dress for men in the Scottish Highlands.
  2. A similar skirt worn by women, girls, and boys.

That was for kilt

  1. The part of a garment, such as a dress or coat, that hangs freely from the waist down.
  2. A garment hanging from the waist and worn especially by women and girls.
  3. A part or attachment resembling the skirt of a garment, especially: a. One of the leather flaps hanging from the side of a saddle. b. The lower outer section of a rocket vehicle. c. A flexible strip hanging from the base of an air-cushion vehicle. d. A piece of fabric that extends over or beyond something to afford protection. e. A spray skirt.
  4. An outer edge; a border or margin: a base camp on the skirt of the mountain.
  5. Offensive Slang A woman.

And skirt. As you see, for kilts "worn by women, girls, and boys" and skirts "worn especially by women and girls," unless you're saying that "especially" somehow means "exclusively."

Anyone remember Mel Feit...?

[–]Urishima 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If it's not an actual kilt, I don't wanna hear about it.
