I was with a girl who was very meek and softspoken for about 5 years. We split up last year and I stumbled upon the girl I talk to now. When we first met, I was depressed still, let myself get out of shape and had 0 confidence. We met on tinder, but I quickly fell into the "friend zone" category despite my best efforts.

After 6 months now of self-improvement, working out, losing 75 pounds, making my style better, I now how this new 9/10 girl looking at me in the way I want, however, the glaring issue is I'm not a dominant man, in her eyes.

My question now is, I've set expectations with her, of me being a "nice guy" and I have to change that to get what I want. In the past I've made myself fully available and tried to be generic and compassionate towards her, but she wants a man who exudes confidence and takes what he wants.

How can I transition into that role without me feeling like I'm faking it? I talk to other women to practice, and feel like I'm getting better, but I have trouble changing my dynamic with her. Has anyone else ran into this issue before?
