I love how TRP is literally the boogeyman hiding in the closet. One mention of us and everyone grabs their torches and pitchforks... lol. Also the idea that the "redpill" is a single, unified theory is hilarious since they don't understand that while many principles apply to relationships and social interaction-there will always be exceptions.

It's too much to ask most redditors to ponder different opinions anyway.

I really don't get how people just day in, and day out scream about "neckbeards", and desperatly slam the people that post here as horrid, and obese without coming up with something even remotely new for an insult. It's almost like a parody how much they fit directly in line with the many articles about feminist shaming tactics. The idea that a successful well to do person can live life with these philosophies in hand just seems to utterly horrify them.

I laugh at plenty of the things that the r/TumblrInAction posters are poking fun at (even though they fail to offer meaningful criticism rather than just "omg lolz" bullshit) YET their knee-jerk dismissal and mocking of TRP makes me cringe at their ignorance/closed-mindedness.

Several commenters made reasonable points that TRP attitudes, even in the extreme, are leagues apart from most of the SJW that sub generally focussed on and were downvoted like crazy.

I replied to some comments in the thread about the ROK article as /u/FarmerJa (I know, I know but I'm feeling antagonistic this evening) and embraced "agree and amplify" as a strategy for responding to my detractors.

ROK is hit and miss, I'm not sure why its held in such high regard around here.

You've got some good insights in some articles and then you've got fantasy "believe my bullshit please" articles like this one here.

Its no more accurate than some dyed in the wool ur-feminist implying real men should be doormats for their women.

Not this shit again. Men are not less manly because they prefer sex with women, they just prefer sex with men. Then again if you want to believe all straight people are less manly that's your prerogative. Yeah, I have no problem with full no holds barred fighting (in my weight class and skill level) , self defense (There is nothing manly about frivolous fighting or killing) or legitimate combat. Pant's wrestling does not involve death or potential permanent damage. Killing people or injuring people does not make me more of a man. While I might be down for both it should be noted the horrors of war and senseless death eat away at your soul. Not diminishing life or enhancing it just haunting you when you least expect it/can't compartmentalize it.
