I think that this is being misinterpreted and the context is being ignored. Peterson is saying generally that if you think there is something wrong with all women, you're wrong, and the problem may be with you, since it's an obvious truth that not all women are bad. This is absolutely true if your reasoning for avoiding women is that they're all bad.

Conversely, MGTOW aren't really saying that women are bad, they're saying that the law empowers the one's that are bad, to abuse men with impunity.

These two views aren't even in conflict and frankly Peterson isn't making the argument that the laws in Canada are hunky dory for men, he's not even speaking about anything in practical terms. And on the other side, I don't think most MGTOW are arguing that women are inherently bad. There just isn't anything to get all twisted into knots about here.
