Hi I'm a dude from South Korea. in recent years, a lot of people in my country have gravitated towards feminsm. korean feminists always say that they're fighting for 'equal rights for both sexes'. but in reality, they're just mimicking the dangerous feminism that has been spread all over western society. the tactics are almost exactly the same- they talk about the gender wage gap, political correctness, lie about how women live in constant fear of rape. and so much more! 1.the gender wage gap explanation given by many anti-feminists in the west still hold up here too. men mostly do the dangerous jobs, spend more time at work, have jobs in STEM subjects etc. 2.they whine about political correctness. for example the word actor and actress. these words translated to korean is 배우 and 여배우. notice how the words are similar. yet the latter one has the extra 여. the 여 part means woman. so the feminists logic is that the male descriptive word is the default word of those two. therefore it proves the patriarchal mindset that is deeply rooted inside our society. (such bs!) 3.feminists say that women are oppressed because s.korea is a crazy hell hole filled with rapists. and it is dangerous to go out. the truth is that s.korea is one of the safest countries in the world. according to Numbeo, S. Korea ranked number 1 in the Safety index for Country in 2015. -What can i do about it? spread the wise words from the people have fought against this poisonous version of feminism. i talking about people like jordan b peterson, ben shapiro, milo yiannoupoulos and so on. but a lot of koreans can't speak english fluently. so i've been translating and captioning some of their videos and uploading it and trying my best to share it. but its pretty hard work.
