Distortion of history - women in general were granted the vote at exactly the same time as men in general! The only difference was that there was a restriction of women over 25 only being allowed to vote whereas men of 18 and older could vote! Even this is justified when you consider 18 year old men were still being conscripted to die when no such requirement was expected of women! Representation of the people act was what gave the general populous voting rights.
