And there is no legal requirement for the mother to collect child support once for the kid. She can get it from the father, and then after 2-3 years, also from her common-law spouse.

And there's no consideration for people who have multiple families. Married and divorced twice, with kids each time? Pay for each family as if they were the only one.

Worse than that. The lawyers on the discussion panel in this video talk about a case where a man was footed the bill after babysitting his neighbors daughter 3 times - when the daughter called him "Daddy" he legally became a surrogate parent.

This is the kind of shit that really makes me side with some of the MGTOW arguments. I've hooked up with and dated women who've had kids - I never realized I could've been on the bill for something as simple as being called "Daddy."
