I like Paglia.

So what happened to the Free Speech movement? I suspect the college and grad students of the mid-60s became tenured faculty by the 80s and then the rules changed as their interests changed. The city councils of Davis and Carmel, California underwent similar changes when a bunch of former hippies came into power and decided they liked being the hammer instead of the nail.

But that's the cynic in me talking ;)

Makes you wonder if the Free Speech Movement in the 1960s was just BS to get their views heard.

I like Camille Paglia too. She is all for women taking responsibility for themselves. That would be contrary to the popular notion that women do not possess agency.
