This is completely wrong, because in fact the "overwhelming majority" of neither domestic violence nor sexual assault is committed by men, and the studies reveal that women make up around half of the perpetrators

It's really ironic when people call saying things like "what about the men?" in regards to DV and sexual violence dismissive. What's dismissive is marginalizing half the victims in order to perpetuate the false notion that this kind of violence has anything to do with gender dynamics and misogyny

This seems perfectly ok. The majority of victims ARE women and the majority of rapists ARE men. Are you trying to argue against this?
