Rob Whitley is the Principal Investigator of the Social Psychiatry Research and Interest Group (SPRING) at the Douglas Hospital Research Center. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University. He has published over 100 papers in the field of social psychiatry and currently leads numerous projects investigating social factors and mental illness. He will be giving a talk at Ryerson university about men's mental health, suicide, substance abuse, under-utilize mental health services, preferring to avoid official services, and a lack of gender specific services for men, addressing their unique mental health needs.please register at the link provided
