Man reports the emotional pain he still suffers after being sexually abused by his step-mother, who his father defended after discovering the abuse and punished the son instead

The whole case is horrible, but the worst part for me is how the father kicked the boy out of the house and continued to defend the wife even after witnessing what happened

The abuse began when the boy was 13; the woman, besides being older, was his step-mother, AKA authority figure; and yet the father decided that all of the blame ought to go to the child

The man's already pathetic for defending his cheating wife in the first place, but a real piece of shit for protecting the woman who sexually abused his son over his own child

There are too many men who would white knight for any female in any situation. And in addition, too many people who don't recognize the harm female-on-male sexual abuse causes the victims, and here this man had suffered his whole life because of such ignorance

This is yet another sad example of how male victims often are either not believed, or, even if they are, are blamed for the abuse or otherwise not taken seriously or given the support they need

"The best interest of the child": if this tired old mantra really was the reason for government action on any family issues, they would be working day and night to reduce the rate of divorce. In reality, most Western governments seem to be working tirelessly to make sure the divorce industry has plenty of business to get fat on.
