Apparently nice guy shaming is a thing now

It has been for quite some time. Women really, really hate it when their sexual preferences are revealed to be not nearly as pristine, pure, ethical, civilized, virtuous etc. as everyone makes them out to be. Nice guys ought to be a perfect match, but women don't really like them, at least when they don't offer other qualities. That's why nice guys must be stereotyped and demonized.

Anyway, there are a few nice guys going agressive after (yet another) rejection. It's not good, but is it really that hard to understand? All a nice guy does is believe in the culturally broadcasted script of attracting women, why shouldn't he be angry? Especially when he sees the kind of men women complain about being the most succesful with women?

Additionally, women are not superb at handling rejection either. Since they're usually not pursuing, rejection is nothing they're used to. "Are you gay or what!?" is a quite common reaction when a man rejects a woman's advances, even sexual assault.

Oh and there's this whole "pump and dumping" issue. Man who gets angry when a woman only wants to be friends = evil, entitled "nice guy™"; woman who gets angry when a man only wants her for sex = justified, understandable anger from exploited woman. Double standard alert.

Well, I looked through that sub, and it looks like they're not shaming nice guys, but "nice guys", the ones that act like nice guys but then get an air of entitlement to them. I personally think people like that are creeps as well. It doesn't matter if you're a nice guy or an asshole, if a woman isn't interested in you, that's her call. Move on to the next one.

I mean, it looks like they are giving shit to people who are actual stalkers and fuck heads. I don't even understand how guys can not convince a girl to like you but ill write a quick guide.

100,000 isn't a high number, hate to break it to you, but compared to the rest of the internet it's a blip, same with the mens rights subreddit which has been growing but is still largely unknown aside from the usual media propaganda pieces on them.

This to me looks like a standard, most likely feminist subreddit given the amount of bitching that they're doing about the perceived 'nice guys' they have to deal with and it seems to me there's only one or two genuinely legitimate problems they've got on the frontpage.

Seems like most of these are just guys with legitimate grievances about the way that these types of women in particular are behaving and they're making themselves a subreddit to mock them.

Just take solace in the fact that their attitudes really are going to keep them miserable and single into their 40's and move on. I get it's a piss take and it is dumb they're even doing this but unless it starts becoming a serious problem and they start doxxing or harassing people they're not worth the effort.

These women seem to be in the rather specific category I've noticed of being vain and arrogant enough to think that the only reason men interact with them is for sex and that all the other guys they meet are douchebags.
