Via Twitter, on a Reddit forum, I stumbled over this horrifying story

Really now? This is what supposedly professional journalists use to find out about dangerous people like this? A fucking subreddit?

Now don't get me wrong, I find the internet incredibly invaluable, the way information flows in and out of these places is amazing if you know where to look but it's always good to check out multiple sources and perspectives so you can find the truth of everything as different sites will hide different bits of information from you on purpose.

However I'm not a professional unlike this person, trying to be nice here because at least she hasn't tried to whitewash this psychopath like so many other in the left wing media have but I do expect fucking more from these people especially when taking into account they definitely have quite comfortable jobs compared to everybody else.

It really is no wonder that these people in the past have often been so delusional or out of touch that they lash so badly out at anybody that seeks to correct them or change their mind. It happens to all of us at some point but it really seems to me like these journalists in particular have managed to develop a genuine mental condition to being challenged.

Sorry for the rant, but I've seen this for so fucking long it amazes me it's actually taken them this many years when it must have taken me at most two months to suss out all of the bullshit after I'd been banned from an SJW shithole and even then I was still questioning this attitude the media and anti-capitalists had to this sort of thing.

This is the kind of woman liberals at the Women’s March want to represent them? Not only did they have a murdering criminal speaking at the march, but they had a woman who wants Sharia Law in America! What kind of message are they trying to send? That they want to take away the rights of women and kill the men?

Yes, that's exactly what these fanatics want and it's taken you that long to realise it that a lot of damage has already been done to entire generations of people.

Consider this angle:

Is there any legitmate, mainstream publication or person/s willing to do the digging and report on her crime? Particularly after she spoke at one of the biggest Women's March's of 2017?

The short answer: No.

Long answer: It is impossible now for mainstream news outlets to speak out on this detail. Most of them risk a severe backlash for daring to attack this woman because she's now deemed a very important spokesperson for Women's Rights. The rest already buy into the "Women can do no wrong" narrative and kowtowing to the messages left in the wake of the Women's March.

I can't fault them for discovering this story via Twitter and Reddit when mainstream media is so biased/afraid.

The MSM pushes the Narrative, they are not 'victims' of it.

Pretty much. Safe.to say <1% of reporters initiate their own investigations. Most repackage others work. Maybe.~2% bother with independent verification if were lucky.

This title is fucking click bait. Don't encourage this shit.

She was convicted, and did her time. If the time was not enough for the crimes committed then that should have been addressed at sentencing. She now stands up years later for a cause and rather than deal with the issues related to the cause, those against the movement attack the person. This is a classic tactic. If you can invalidate the person speaking then anything they say or are involved with, regardless of its validity, can be thrown into question. Trump does this all the time. Attack the messenger rather than having to deal with the message.

Just because somebody serves their prison sentence doesn't mean they are all of a sudden a "reformed and changed" person when they get out. Ignoring her punishment, she still murdered, tortured, and raped a guy with two other women and her crimes will not and should never be forgotten. They should be held against her for the rest of her life, quite frankly, because they are literally the worst things you can do to a person. At no point did she back out, or try to stop it, or change her mind. She did it for $9000 dollars. If she does a lot more good than harm in her life, perhaps then we could appreciate something good that she does, but her crimes were still done methodically, intentionally, and without remorse or regret, and she should live with that the rest of her life.

Yeah, but according to her "he was gay because he squirmed [while the three foot metal rod was shoved up his anus]" which presumably made it ok in her mind. No chance of a false accusation, no real remorse. Now she's a leader in their movement for love and peace and equality.

Another one wants sharia law, and that's not an exaggeration. Kind of like how some feminists believe that all but the cream of the crop of men should be put in camps and the rest used as studs, and we call them "feminazis." Not an exaggeration.

She was charged with second degree murder, for torturing someone for weeks on end, and then killing them. That isn't what second degree murder is. She should have been charged with first degree, pre meditated murder that carries the penalty of death. Second degree murder is like, this person pissed me off so bad that in the moment, I killed them. First degree murder is planned out with intent. So, how do you torture a person for weeks on end, with the intent to kill them, not premeditated? Did she not know that torturing someone to that degree could possibly lead to their death? That's ludicrous. How was it not planned when she did the act for weeks on end? That doesn't add up either. She got off easy, and should have at the minimum, stood trial for the death penalty when sentenced. This was probably a plea deal that most men will never see.

You can get into the weeds all you want. The fact is, I challenge you to show me a similar case with a male, where they aren't charged with first degree murder in the end. I'll wait. That's why this is a men's rights issue. It's the massive disparity in how we are sentenced for our crimes. To expand, show me a guy who did something similar, and is now not only free, but being used as an example of what a victim of criminal justice looks like. She isn't one, and that is her story.

That the justice system somehow did her wrong by sentencing her to 27 years, which I guarantee was a plea/reduced sentence deal, somehow makes her a victim of the system. Some women are becoming so privileged now, that when they torture and kill a man, get a reduced sentence, they are somehow victims of an unjust system, who will then be paraded around as if she suffered some abuse of human rights by millions of other people. Wtf is going on? She isn't a hero. She is a murdering torturer, who, if she had a penis, would probably already be taking a dirt nap.

Seriously, show me a similar situation where this happens to a guy. And not because of some obscure reason like the evidence was tampered with or similar. This was done intentionally because she is a woman. No way in hell would anyone rally around a man who did this to a woman. Just, no...It would never happen, and that's the issue.

that clickbait title tho

[–]orcscorper 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Agreed. "Caught", as if she wasn't convicted of that bloody crime thirty years ago. It is not a new development.

[–]CurtisAxelmania 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It may not be a recent capture but her buried history certainly caught up with her.
