This isn't even a question that can be debated really. It doesn't matter what the fuck people in this thread (or the linked threads) tell you. If you feel the net gain of this relationship with her is positive and it improves your life then do it.

The relationship dynamics themselves are subjective and no amount of description you can provide will allow anyone here to have a fully comprehension of how you guys feel towards each other. People can provide their insight based on their experience of their relationships with women but really at the end of the day it is pretty irrelevant.

The nature of RP is putting yourself first; not following strict "RP rules". This philosophy isn't all black and white.

TLDR; Do what is in your best interest; don't listen to what others tell you.

They make shitty friends. Solipsism makes sure she almost never understands you completely, hypergamy makes sure you're always the plan Z, not A or B.

Make no mistake between it being some kind of sister-brother thing. Your sister may hold you dear for the same reason your parents hold you dear - you're genetically pretty similar. If she sees no value in you, you're not a human to her.

Unless there's an ulterior motive to be her friend, like leveraging it to get to her friends or to understand women better, don't.

Yes absolutely.

There's a 28 year old woman at my uni, she is attractive, petite blonde.

She admits she rode the cock carasoul and was too much of a party girl in the past, she's now trying to make something of her life, she gets top marks and works harder than anyone else I know, including me.

She's taught me how to use programs, given me invaluable sources and has connections with industry. She makes good company on long nights too.

I'm not sexually attracted to her at all, but genuinely interested in the type of educational value she provides. I'd say we're just friends.

For me, it's possible. For the general male population, maybe. It depends on how accessible sex is to them and how many women they've gotten with.

Yes. I am not sure how to cultivate the friendships from the beginning, but I have a number of female friends who I believe are platonic.

We go back to high school and the old neighborhood--we're mid-20s now, and grew up low-mid income and went to mid-western inner-city public school. We know each others' families, have many friends in common, matchmake, etc. Also SO's in these circles tend to not be jealous. For example, I rented a room from a female friend and her boyfriend over the Summer while I was getting in shape and discovering TRP, and there was no more turbulence than if I was living with two guys. "Some of the best friendships I have," though I am usually not one to ask for favors and so I can't comment on that aspect. In the rare times I do ask for help they tend to be willing and able.

One problem is that over the years I came to see women as the best type of friends because of these model examples, and I became a mere orbiter to most new women as they came into my life. That was sexist thinking on my part, and most of them have accordingly gone since I've corrected it (ie. stopped giving them a Pass). The right thing to do is judge/treat women as equal human beings and determine if you would be friends with that person. Once you (or they) decide to escalate, however, all bets are off.

For all I know these women see me as an orbiter, but that's okay. I've always been a great Beta Bux and many of them do ride The Carousel and have recently started acting as though The Wall is in sight, so it will be interesting to see if they start making plays. But in the mean time, we help each other out in a number of ways and enjoy each others' company and all is well. So yes, you can be friends with women, and for extended periods of time. Forever? I don't know yet.

If they'll go out of there way for you, introduce you to their actually hot friends, and help you pick up girls at a bar/club.

Then yes they are actually wanting to be a true friend. Failing any of these... well nope

I'm not sure why you would want to. What is she adding to you as a friend? Do you just like someone to brag to about your conquests? Are you getting more out of this friendship than her?

To me it sounds like you need to get some guy friends. Find your tribe and learn to belong there.
