The Department of Premier and Cabinet of Victoria recently posted two videos; one about how There’s Nothing Good About Dads Who Abuse Women and another about how Family Violence Has No Good Days (and by 'Family', the video clearly shows 'Man-on-Woman'), both ending with the message "Respect Women". The comments section for both videos are disabled (I'm assuming it's to avoid open discourse).

Even though the majority of family violence victims in Melbourne, Victoria are female, the CSA of Victoria reports that 18,648 (24.8%) of men were victims of family violence and 17,183 (22.8%) of women were 'other-party' perpetrators, from 04/2015 to 03/2016. These stats don't say whether the victims are due to Male-on-female violence or Female-on-Female, so I don't know where the DPC gets it's 'Dads are abusers" narrative.

The links in the video descriptions leads to a referral service where men can call-in if they feel like they need to "take action to stop using violent and controlling behaviour". There is no similar service provided for women. ಠ_ಠ

No doubt a side-effect of Canada's feminist prime minister, Justin Trudeau. I'm already looking for a conservative replacement for Trudeau in 2019.
