Women, as a group, pay taxes. They just cost (a lot) more over their life than they pay, whereas men are overall net contributors. And this figures exclude 'hidden' taxes such as lifetime alimony.

Also, this research is relevant only to New Zealand, although I don't doubt most Western countries follow the same pattern.

There's a reason "welfare queen" is more often heard than "welfare king", after all.

If the cumulative contribution of men amounts to approximately even. And the cumulatice contribution of women is negative.

How does NZ grow in population and increase the government service base?

This would result in massive debt.
