Violently raped, at that. There are still so many people who think it's literally impossible for a woman to rape a grown man, and that even if she does things like this it's not "real rape"

On the other hand, it is good that this story is getting some attention. Even if the article doesn't call it rape, hopefully people will see this and recognize it for what it is

The reason they don't use the word rape in the article is because she wasn't charged with it but it sickens me she wasn't even charged with sexual assault.

Any woman in this situation would have been encouraged to file rape charges on top of the grievous bodily harm.... And really just GBH for that? When one fight in a pub can land you the same trouble as months of abuse, rape and torture it sickens me.
