Not Enough Women Are Joining The Army. Should We Impose A Quota?

Quota seems to be the feminist word of the year. They seem to want to have a quota for women on the board of companies and in government as all costs. They have seemed to forget that there is an area of government greatly under represented by women.

The Army.

I believe gender parity is imperative. I propose we have compulsory military service for all women 18 years and older for one year of combat training. It will also serve as a deterrent to the ‘rape culture’ as women would be able to confidently fight off any attackers by having the training to use reasonable force to subdue an attacker.

When the number of women match the number of men in the army, conscription can be eased slightly for females. Once females have been eased into every face of society, will there be true gender equality.
