I'm intending to gain information related to specific TRP knowledge application for guys who are older and still have to get their shit together regarding career and women.
I'm in my early 30s and fast approaching my mid 30s. I have made some good and bad decisions in my 20s and have not done certain things I should have done regarding career progression and interacting with women. I was exposed to similar theories regarding TRP through the Tom Leykis show in my 20s. I agreed with most of what he said except some of his seemingly liberal politics. Due to issues I won't go into on this thread, I didn't even attempt to apply what he was saying to my life.
I have done a few good things in my 20s: I developed a unique skill set in a hobby I am passionate about, worked at a job where I had some responsibility, served 4 years in the military, kept fit and ate healthy. I have made some great connections due to my hobby. The negative things I did in my 20-30 age range were wasting a shit load of time playing videogames and watching shows, drinking too much, having a negative attitude, and not even trying to get pussy. I could have a successful career by now and decent skills with women had I not wasted time and allowed depression to get the better of me for over a decade.
I have an opportunity to start a business with some like minded individuals regarding my hobby. I will be starting to work on this soon. Due to past failures, I understand the importance of always having a plan B. I am currently learning a new skill set in order to start a new career. As far as women go, I fuck escorts when I can. I know that isn't TRP but I have much work to do.
I'm sure there are a number of other readers who are in my age group and are in a similar situation. What should people in my age range focus on who still have problems to overcome regarding women? What is working against older guys who are beginning a new career?
I have a thick skin and like to hear harsh truths. I do think that regardless of age, self improvement is possible. I think that even a 30 year old basement dweller who has never worked can still improve their quality of life. Am I wrong in this?
