If it was 300 or more, you would think they would say 300 so we're safe to say that it was under 300. That's over 3%. Are 3% of the people in Kentucky prisons women who were convicted of killing a significant other or husband?

Seems unlikely, but maybe he only pardoned murderers then you'd have a point although we wouldn't know how many of the other 200+ people pardoned were female murderers either. It may be difficult to say as a percentage exactly how disproportionate these pardons were, but it seem safe to say that they were disproportionately high. This may give you an idea though.

"Cheryl McCafferty's mother, Betty Gosney, calls a pardon by the governor the best case scenario because it means Cheryl McCafferty's conviction and related-criminal record will effectively go away."

Maybe I'm a cynic, but somehow I doubt he'd wipe out the records of 200+ male killers.
