A study from way back in 1980 showed that only 0.001% of the couples they looked at had a taller female. Other studies prove that this is due to the woman's choice, rather than the man's. Women also have more sex with taller men when they're in relationships and they're more likely to cheat on shorter guys.

So...once again - science proves gender differences in mate selection, and not only that, that's its women who are the strongest proponents of gender bias.

Also, I love the fact the study points out that women get crankier over time - regardless of the health or success of the relationship. Another nail in the marriage coffin.

Kind of makes sense given how women initiate the vast majority of divorces in straight couples and lesbians have a much higher divorce rate compared to gay men. Keeping the woman happy in the relationship seems to be the key factor.

As a 6'6 man women have always liked the fact that I am taller than them.

Never thought it had am actual correlation to my wife's happiness.
