What exactly is defining it as a flop here? The amount of money taken in? The reviews? Rotten tomatoes has it as a 73% on the tomatometer, and the audience score is 58%. Far from their worst rating of the films released over the last year

From what I heard, this movie was basically the originL Ghostbuster, but women. Even had the same antagonists.

If there is any truth to this, it deserves to flop.

You realize the movie was written, funded, cast, and green lit by men right? McCarthy walked away with 14 million. I don't see her being too broken up about it.
