This is a very massive topic but I will try to keep it simple. And I only ask for personal opinions from long time theory practitioners.

I am still making my way through the 48 Laws, yet I'm finding that some of them are in direct opposition to eachother. For example "Law 6 Court attention at all costs" can conflict with "Law 1" and "Law 5". "Law six" encourages slander and scandal as long as you're the center of attention but "Law 5" states that you can not let your reputation be undermined.

How can you encourage slander but protect your reputation?

My question is how did you guys find which law to apply over the other? How did you analyze the cituation? What other laws did you find conflicting?

I understand the major answer to this is everything is case sensitive and must be analyzed on the spot. I would still live some input?
