Over half the cases referred to the courts now are for sexual assaults that never even occurred, completely fabricated out of spite and revenge.

I agree with your post overall, but I am not sure about this statistic. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true TBH, but I just haven't seen the research showing this.

In my anecdotal evidence from talking to lawyers and sitting in on a few pre-trials for rape cases, I would believe this. There were a few that involved a custody battle, two cases of prostitution where the guy didn't pay in full, a few cases of drunk hookups where it is hard to tell how the rape took place because the complainant couldn't describe the actual rape (the prosecutor had to ask at the end if the act was consensual since it wasn't clear from the testimony), and one where a lady claimed her masseur slid a finger in her (this one was odd, but strangely the most believable).

The lawyer told me that generally he advices the guilty defendants to take the plea, and they usually do, so this would keep them out of trial.

So anecdotally, I can believe this.
