They make them up, it's that fucking simple,. if she's saying 2% she should be telling you her sources. As we've seen, feminists in particular make these statements and then act like it's your job to disprove them, when in reality the burden of proof is entirely on them.

2% is a lie. Ask her where she got it from. It is from an anecdote of an anecdote, which means it has the validity of the square root of bullshit.

8% was what was reported to the FBI in 1997, which only included cases that were PROVEN to be false through investigation, therefore is the floor, not the ceiling.

I always find it interesting that 19% of rape cases were closed as 'informational', meaning that the complainant is believed to be telling the truth but no crime was actually committed. Just think of how many cases are considered crimes because the complainant stretched the truth in telling the story, as people very often do.

The best source on statistics on these matters is Christina Hoff Sommers. Her two books, Who Stole Feminism and The War Against Boys are tops, though Who Stole Feminism is by now many years old. There is an updated version of the War Against Boys.
