Here is one crazy court ruling.

I guess our empower girls culture only extends as far as when mothers approve.
"[Vechery’s child] shall not be permitted to play competitive golf for one year. Competitive golf is defined by the court as no tournament and no lessons with any golf pro with the exception of the father. The father and [child] may play no more than one round of golf per week for five hours with putting and practice whichever is greater."
Maybe the father is pushing her to do something she doesn't want to do, but that's not the impression I'm getting. The impression I'm getting is that the mom doesn't want her child involved with golf because it strengthens the father's custody position.
Whether you believe in the best interests of the child or shared patenting this is wrong. It's in the child's best interests to continue especially if she's got that much potential and enjoys it and the father should be unrestricted in the decisions on his child's extra curricular activities unless there is a verifiable and provable detrimental affect on the child.
