I often wear shorts when it is sub-50. My legs don't get cold, so I'll have on shorts, t-shirt and a light jacket and I'm fine.

Why in the hell would anyone else care how I'm dressed? If I'm cold, that's my problem and it doesn't affect you in the slightest.

I commute to work on my bike and I never got out my long bike pants at all last winter.
