Feminists have monopolized the gender discussion for half a century. They have demonizing men so thoroughly that the few men who are brave enough to oppose feminism are dismissed as privileged misogynists. It is refreshing to hear men speak up on gender issues and give their own opinions, rather than staying silent or adopting feminist agenda in order to gain societal approval. The MRA movement is the only significant challenge to the feminist orthodoxy. Allowing men to be heard in the gender discussion may be its most important contribution.

or how about another theory.

men are in competition with other men, and this competition is more important than the well-being of men as a whole. so the men in power are OK with women surpassing men because that means women will have fewer successful men to choose from, and the men in power will hence have a larger selection.

not that women are technically "gaining power." thousands more degrees in gender studies and art history is useless. but it makes the women think that after spending all this time getting an education they should not have to "lower" themselves and find a less educated mate.
