I just emailed a reporter from the biggest newspaper in my state.

He had written an article that said "University alerts students about sexual assault on campus." It said the victim had been assaulted Saturday night and the University was investigating.

I emailed him to ask why the world "alleged" was nowhere to be found in the story.

To his/his editor's credit, within a few minutes it was added.

Might seem a small thing, but words (and lack of words) matter.
