It's been done. There was an episode of 'Sliders' where the gang dropped-in to a gender-flipped San Fransisco where women were all CEOs and men were playthings. Naturally, there was little to no display of homeless women or women in prisons since, like all men in our actually-existing world, the women were happily ensconced in their air-conditioned offices watching money grow on trees while groping the bums of their male secretaries.

It's an inversion of real, actually-existing reality of course.

Where do people even get this idea that if women ruled the world we'd be living in a utopian society anyways? Like I see one of the main points is "No wars!" but fuck man, women get into violent conflicts all the time based on custody, money, romantic relationships (you should see the stats for lesbian domestic violence).

It's just sort of hysterical how they're essentially implying that all women are delicate gentle little flowers, you know, that thing that feminism has been trying to get away with for years now?

Which is odd because relationships where there are no men (lesbian relationships) have the most violence in them.

Actually now that I think about it how does the premise of this world even make sense

So when all women gain the ability to immediately reproduce asexually, their first instinct is to completely tell men to fuck off? What sense does that make? Are all the men infertile? Why not just use a system where both asexual and sexual reproduction are present and you can reap the benefits of both? Why have all the women suddenly become lesbians even though that sexual attraction is literally HARDWIRED in the brains of humans? Did they brainwash all the women into becoming lesbians? Like, reverse conversion therapy?

What would be the point of letting all the men die out anyways? Isn't that in itself kind of an extremely immoral thing to do? Wouldn't society sort of crumble due to the fact that men's risk taking factors are ACTUALLY needed in some aspects of society to remain functional? I mean evolution is this morally ambiguous thing but that doesn't mean that you should let a demographic that's been around for MILLIONS of years go extinct. Logically it's not good for the gene pool or environmental stability. That's sort of why people try to stop multiple animal species from going extinct. They're useful and liked by many and just sort of letting them die out would be a shitty thing to due which would probably lead to a lot more issues then initially realized.

Apparently there were no women who loved their sons, brothers fathers etc.

I'm not entirely sure which sex the writer was trying to demonise.

Also, traditionally female leaders were more likely to send their men to war than male leaders were.

Reading some of the interviews and summaries now I think he was sort of making statements about both the sexes in a way.

Then again...

"Australian or otherwise, Sawers added that men are basically redundant in his view. “I’ve certainly been aware for a long time that men have no purpose,” he said. “I have two kids and the feeling, for me, that at any particular point I could step away for a long time and it really wouldn’t have that much of an impact on the situation? My wife couldn’t do that. On some level, I think men feel it.”

Because every family's financial and emotional situation in the world must automatically line up with yours? How fucking narcissistic can you BE.

Certain feminists like pushing this idea and then, when peasants like you and I laugh at it as being moronic, other feminists like pop-up to tell us that no feminist ever said such a dumb thing.

Schroedinger's feminist idiocy.

I'm pretty sure they just switch their ideologies based on whatever they're talking about at the time.

"Women should be let in the army! I mean, OBVIOUSLY if a woman were running this country there'd be no wars, but still let women in the army!"

ok

I just said we don't talk about that episode!

I'm sorry, I was too busy watching Episode 8 of the first season of Sliders. :( Were you saying something?

I find it funny that they think society would be in the same place in the '90s in a world where women and men have basically switched places. I mean, they said the women took over "a few hundred years ago". The United States of America wouldn't exist without the war that they say women were trying to prevent when they took over. I mean, the women act like women, not like men.

Why does this remind me of the Sliders episode where men were nearly wiped out by a sort of bomb that attacked the Y chromosome...

Then of course, there's the "The Weaker Sex" episode...We don't talk about that one...
