This is going to be spun around until it warps the space around it. This is going to be read as "Judge says rape doesn't violate your rights!" or even "Judge says rape isn't bad!" depending on how far they are willing to stretch it.

But what the judge actually said was that rape, in itself, is not by definition a gendered hate crime. If she wants to call it that and benefit from that classification, specifically, she needs to substantiate that the alleged crime was motivated by hate for women.

Kesha, only having produced a single one of contractually obligated five albums, is facing a breach of contract with Sony, with a penalty that will leave her financially bankrupt. (fair enough considering Sony invested 70 million into her career)

This is why she is desperately pouring the last of her money into pursuing EVERY possible way she could have the contract annulled. it is her last chance to avoid being ruined financially, even if she has to lie about rape to do it.

So she is claiming to have lied under SWORN testimony. What is the sense in swearing in a person if they can just say they were scared to tell the truth?

There are numerous other crimes where a person was scared and so committed the crime, but they still get prosecuted. People help on robberies because they are scared to say no when asked to help. They serve their time for that.

Who is this chick ? I honestly can't tell one of these "celebrities" apart from another. Mostly it's because their music is mind-numbing shit and I'm willing to bet that you could put pretty much any face on the album cover and it would still sell to the hordes of ignorant teenagers who think it's all never been done before.
